Chart your own course through the process of science with our journaling tool!
This interactive tool allows students and educators to document, annotate, and reflect on the non-linear, dynamic process of science in their own investigation, an article, or video.
Users can create journals using the “Detailed” (complex) or the “Basic” (grades 3-5) versions of the flowchart. The interactive provides an introduction to the components of the How Science Works flowchart and a clickable flowchart for mapping pathways through the process of science. Each step in a journal can be annotated with text, images, and files. Users can save and edit journals and export their work into a PowerPoint presentation.
Additional instructions are provided in the “Help” and “Educator Resources” tabs in the interactive.
